Dr. Erica Appenzeller is a highly experienced and compassionate licensed acupuncturist dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal health and well-being.
With over 17 years of clinical practice, she has a proven track record of helping patients manage and heal from various health conditions, including acute and chronic pain conditions, injuries, stress, and anxiety. A native of La Mesa and Ocean Beach in San Diego, Erica graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and earned both her Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine, as well as her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College in San Diego.
Dr. Erica’s approach to acupuncture is holistic. She believes that the body has an innate ability to heal itself when given the right support. She uses acupuncture to stimulate the body’s natural healing processes and restore balance and harmony to the nervous system, muscles, and tissues.
